GCH @ 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Awards
This year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors show will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the seminal Def Jam records. The show premieres Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 9/8c.
The sixth annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors show will commemorate the 25th anniversary of Def Jam Records, as talents from across all artistic genres come together to celebrate this significant milestone in American hip-hop music. Eminem, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Ludacris, DMX, Mary J. Blige, Redman, The Roots, Method Man,ONYX, Public Enemy, Warren G, Kid Rock, Chris Rock, Jimmy Fallon, Brett Ratner,Trey Songz, Ja Rule, Gym Class Heroes, and Scarface are scheduled to show up and show out to celebrate the label that served a catalyst for this American musical phenomenon.

Working On The Site!
Hey guys! We’re working on adding some content to UPSTATE KIDS and I want to give my fellow GCH fans an opportunity to put some input on the site. We will accept any tips; photos, links to articles/interviews and most media (audio, video, graphics, amagzine scans, etc). We are also looking to build the following pages:
- Quotes - Not lyrics, just miscellaneous quotes from magazines or interviews that are entertaining or really deep.
- Media - Links to any good quality performance videos and/or live photos; we’ll accept .zip/.rar files as well.
Contact - If you know any PUBLIC sites we’ve missed that belong to GCH members, shoot us a link (blogs, profiles, etc - no personal information)Any other information that is outdated, incorrect, or that we have missed.

The mtvU Sunblock Music Festival features co-headliners Boys Like Girls and Gym Class Heroes, with special guests The Academy Is, The Veronicas, and Never Shout Never bringing this killer musical event to 4 cities this July.
